The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says six ships out of the 17 expected to berth in Lagos ports of Apapa, Tin-Can and Lekki are laden with 4,778 metrics tons (MT) of containers of different products.
NPA in its Daily Shipping Position on Thursday, said that the expected vessels would arrive from Oct. 30 to Nov. 7, at Apapa, Lekki and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos.
It said that the 11 remaining expected ships contained general cargo, bulk gypsum, fresh fish and petro.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the document noted that five ships had arrived at the ports, waiting to berth with general cargo and bulk wheat.
NAN also reports that five ships are at the Lekki port currently discharging general cargoes, bulk wheat, gasoline, crude oil, containers and petrol. (NAN)
